MILO T20 Blast
The T20 Blast Saturday morning competition will replace U8 Kanga cricket from Season 2016. Sign up fee includes the gear pack plus a CPCC club playing shirt and cap.
MILO T20 Blast is a super fun, social, safe, cricket program for boys and girls. The program is much shorter than traditional cricket, with a maximum of 90 minutes playing time. All the equipment is supplied and the games take place at the same venue each week.
Kids 8 and under on the 31st of August are eligible to play Under 9's.
Under 9's sees the kids move onto proper cricket pitches and begin to use proper gear. A softer "incrediball" is used in games, but protective gear is required.
The Plateau fielded 2 Under 9's teams in 2014/15.
Kids 9 and under on the 31st of August are eligible to play Under 10's.
The Under 10's age group is the first in which a competition table is recorded. It is a slight step up from under 9's rules, the ball is slightly harder but not yet the same as an actual cricket ball.
The Plateau fielded 2 Under 10's teams in 2014/15 - one in Division 1 and one in Division 2.
Under 11s and 12s
Kids 10 and under on the 31st of August are eligible to play Under 11's and kids 11 and under on the 31st of August are eligible to play Under 12's
Both these grades use slightly smaller version of a proper cricket ball - 142 grams rather than the regular 156 grams.
In seasion 2014/15 the Plateau fielded a team in each of Under 11's division 1 and 2 as well as Under 12's division 1 and 2.
Under 13s- Under 16/17/18s

These age groups play by the regular laws of cricket and use a proper 156 gram cricket ball.
In season 2014/15 the Plateau fielded two teams in Under 13's and a team in each subsequent age group after that.
