UPDATE: In a tragic turn of events, Rob was contacted by the PCYC this week and notified that they would be ceasing to offer accommodation, effective immediately. Some rubbish about health and safety issues. We are investigating alternative places to stay in the Bay at the moment and will provide another update soon. The cost will almost certainly rise, but safe to say the maximum would be $50/night.
Who would have thought that 20 years ago our first Nelson Bay pioneers were starting a tradition that would cement itself as an unmissable event on the CPCC calendar. A weekend away that would still be going, as strong as ever, in the year 2016.
Once again we will be gracing the hallowed grounds of the PCYC and setting the Nelson Bay night alive with the sound of Chinkle buzzers. All club members and affiliates who are over the age of 18 are welcome to come!
Leading up to our 20th anniversary of the Nelson Bay weekend away, we’ll take a look back at some of the classic moments that have defined the “the Bay” through it’s rich history.
