REGISTRATIONS FOR THE 2024/25 SEASON NOW OPEN.
There are a number of options available to boys wanting to play cricket this season.
Blast Skills (5 - 7 years)
Blast skills is for kids new to cricket with participants building their skills through fun, game based activities. The games are designed for small groups to ensure every child gets a go, allowing them to test and learn new skills. When they have mastered the basics they will be ready to graduate to Blast Competition where they can play modified games of cricket.
The registration fee not only gets your kids a weekly cricketing program but also gets them some great gear to get them started.
Join in the fun on Friday evenings at Plateau Park.
Blast Competition (7 - 8 years)
A super fun, social, safe, cricket program for boys and girls aged 7 to 8.
The program is much shorter than traditional cricket, with a maximum of 90 minutes playing time.
All the equipment is supplied and the games take place at the same venue each week.
Under 10 (Stage 1)
Kids 9 and under on the 31st of August are eligible to play Under 10's.
7 a side T20 games on 16m pitches with a 30 - 35m boundary. Batters face 17 balls. All players bowl one over (maximum 4 overs). A semi-hard ball is used and protective equipment is worn.
Games are played on Saturday mornings (2 hours max) at various grounds.
Under 11 (Stage 1)
Kids 10 and under on the 31st of August are eligible to play Under 11's .
7 a side T20 games on 16m pitches with a 30 - 35m boundary. Batters face 17 balls. All players bowl one over (maximum 4 overs). A semi-hard ball is used and protective equipment is worn.
Games are played on Saturday mornings (2 hours max) at various grounds.
Under 12 (Stage 2)
Kids 11 and under on the 31st of August are eligible to play Under 12's.
9 a side 30 over games on 18m pitches with a 40m boundary. Batters face 35 balls. All players bowl except wicket keeper. A 142g leather ball is used. If you get out you are out.
Games are played on Saturday afternoons (3 hours) at various grounds.
Under 13 (Stage 2)
Kids 12 and under on the 31st of August are eligible to play Under 13's.
9 a side 30 over games on 18m pitches with a 40m boundary. Batters face 35 balls. All players bowl except wicket keeper. A 142g white leather ball is used. If you get out you are out.
Games are played on Saturday mornings (3 hours) at various grounds.
Under 14 – Under 16 Division 2 (Stage 2)
Kids 13 and under on the 31st of August are eligible to play Under 14. Kids 14 and under on the 31st of August are eligible to play Under 15. Kids 15 and under on the 31st of August are eligible to play Under 16.
9 a side 30 over games on 20.12m pitch stump to stump with a 50m boundary. A 156g white leather ball is used.
Games are played on Saturday mornings at various grounds.
Under 14 – Under 16 Division 1 (Stage 3)
Kids 13 and under on the 31st of August are eligible to play Under 14. Kids 14 and under on the 31st of August are eligible to play Under 15 - Under 16.
Traditional format 30 over games on full length wicket with a 50m boundary. Batters retire after 15 overs. A 156g leather ball is used.
Games are played on Saturday mornings at various grounds.
