Vale – Ted Redden

CPCC are sad to advise the passing of Ted Redden on Monday 15 October 2018 – aged 70.

A number of our older members would remember Ted who was brought up in Plateau Rd and played for CPCC in the under 16s (with manager Ken Hunt) and then a few years in C and B Grade.

Ted was a teacher and moved around the State until he settled in Uralla (near Armidale) in the late 70’s.

He furthered his studies at New England University where he obtained his Doctorate and became Professor of Mathematics. Ted later took a position, until his retirement, with the United Nations in implementing educational ‘systems’  in undeveloped countries where he travelled the world.

Sadly missed by his wife Cath, daughters Jen and Becky and grandchildren, Ted’s ashes are to be scattered on his Uralla property.
