Nolans, Sun 24 Jan: CPCC’s first T20 foray took an enormous step towards a title after the Towers crushed the raging hot favourite Harbord Diggers in the semi-final. Led by 3rd Grades’ Tom Carden, the Towers squad comprising of a cross section of all 6 Grades rolled the 1st Grade Diggers team for 60 after having them shell-shocked at 9 for 23. Dean Storey (5 wickets) and Matt Richards (4) were the destroyers with the ball. CPCC’s Jas Ferris and Brenden Ball ensured that the Plateau reached the target to book a place in the final against Wakehurst on Sunday 21st of Feb at Nolans 1. Action starts at 10am.
