Women

Collaroy Plateau Cricket Club has a proud and growing tradition of the participation in cricket by the female members of our club. Ever since Layelle Burke was bowling out the boys in the late nineties, an increasing amount of girls are taking to and enjoying cricket.

In 2008 local girl Mikaela Turik provided CPCC with the distinction of having our first junior to play international cricket when she was selected to play in the Canadian Women’s Open team at the age of 14.

In 2013/14 CPCC had the pleasure of hosting Becca Silk, a young upcoming cricketer from Brighton, England. Her off-spinners played a handy role in helping our 3rds team win the premiership that year.

We have more recently had CPCC Juniors progressing into Seniors, including Grace Pike in 5th Grade in 2025/26.

Women cricketers are most welcome to play in any of our seniors teams.
