CPCC Edge out Civic in Old Boys Social Match

On Sunday CPCC played Manly Civic in a social match at Griffith Park. The match was a significant gathering of ex-MWCA players (and a couple of current ones as well) who competed strongly against each other initially in 2^nd Grade, then 1^st Grade for many seasons in the 90’s and early 2000’s.

On the demise of the Manly Civic team around 2005, a number of players joined CPCC and continued a long and successful career with our club including a 1^st Grade premiership in 2005/06.

Ex-MWCA Secretary Peter Moses was on hand to watch as his son John played as part of the Manly Civic team.

We look forward to this becoming an annual or bi-annual fixture.
