The CPCC ‘Sunrise Club’ is back!
Our latest wacky adventure is to tackle the 100km Oxfam Trailwalker starting Friday the 23th of August. CPCC stalwarts Rob Minnett, Dave Bennetts, Col Huxley and Dom Wheeler are busy training to achieve this mighty task but we need your support.
Oxfam Trailwalker is an endurance event in which teams of four tackle 100kms or 50km of Australian bush within 48 hours or 24 hours. We’ve decided on the 100kms as they are not offering a 200km event. Despite this, we will be challenged in many ways. We will be tired, sore, thirsty, hungry, cold, hot, frustrated, lost – and that’s just making our way to the start line at Brooklyn!
But we are ready to do something epic to fight poverty and injustice throughout the world, and whatever venomous Australian creatures that may try to attack us along the trail.
With the help of our support crew and a good supply of Cheezels, we are determined to start together, stick together and cross the Finish line together because that’s what the rules say we have to do. We are proud to support Oxfam Australia and thank you in advance for supporting our team!
