1st Grade
1sts won the toss and chose to bat. New recruit and opener Alistair Fitzpatrick hit 91 on debut for the Plateau. His opening partner Ruben Donato scored 29, before stalwart Rob Minnett joined in to notch up another fifty for the Plateau finishing unbeaten on 52. The Plateau looked in trouble late in the game before a wicket maiden from returning fast bowler Jeff Porter-Denning put them back in the running. An eventful last over and a 2 off the last ball saw the scores tied at 217 to conclude the match.

They struggled early before a middle inning recovery was led by Kesh Ratnavibushena, who hit a career high score of 28, and debuntante Andrew Wheather who whacked 14. The CPCC innings closed at 8/117. A great bowling performance saw the Plateau always in control. Ben Eady, Col Huxley, Adam Morrison (CPCC debut) and Matt Jackson all took 2 wickets a piece and Harbord pulled up short, bowled out for 100 in the last over.
