Collaroy Plateau Cricket Club The biggest park cricket club on Sydney's Northern Beaches
CPCC sadly report the passing of Life Member Barry Harland earlier this week aged 92. Barry was a foundation member of the Club and President for 4 years from 1956/57 to 1959/60. He was also involved with the establishment of the Collaroy Plateau Youth Club several years later. Barry lived on the north-west corner of Acacia and Claudare Sts for many years before retiring to Ballina on the far north coast. Barry’s sons David and Steven played a number of years with the club progressing from the juniors into the senior ranks.
