Girls Ready to take on T20 Blast after SCG Session with Australian Stars

What an introduction it was to cricket for our first all girls team “The Collaroy Storm”. On Monday 17th October, they were lucky enough to attend a very personalised coaching clinic with Meg Lanning and Elysse Perry at the indoor nets of the Sydney Cricket Ground. This was part of Cricket Australia’s exciting media announcement that is set to take female cricket to a whole new level with its biggest financial investment into female sport in Australian history. The girls featured across all news channels that evening; from Fox Sports News, Channel Nine and ABC News etc and also in the national papers on Tuesday. Look out Milo T20 Big Blast…. The Collaroy Storm is approaching!

Our girls team will be participating in the MWJCA Girls T20 Blast comp at Melwood. It all starts today! (Friday 21st October)
