U/13s Get a Surprise Visit from Freddie Flintoff in Mini Bash Game

Our Under 13/2 Kilowatts side got a huge surprise during their Mini Bash game on Thursday when superstar Andrew Freddie Flintoff stopped in for a visit.

Freddie was en route from West Head to Manly by bike when he decided to stop in at Griffith Park to check out our young Twenty20 stars. He was very chatty and the kids had a great time with the English funny man (and decent cricketer). Attempts were made to get him out to umpire but the offer was unfortunately declined!

The Kilowatts side were taking on Peninsula in their 2nd Mini Bash game and we’re unsure of the result at this stage. The Mini Bash points table can be found here.

Thanks for stopping by Freddie, no doubt you made the kids’ day!
